Bark Barn isn't a facility. It's Alex's home, and the dogs live in it with him.
Hi, I'm Alex.
I'm a CGC-certified dog trainer with 10 years of experience, and Bark Barn is my house. I studied psychology at George Mason University with a focus on canine behavior, and my brother Edy helps me with the pack. Every dog that stays here lives the way ours do: real beds, a big yard, and someone home with them all day.

Boarding in a home, not a kennel.
Your dog stays in my house, not in a cage. Real beds, the couch, belly rubs, and a pack to hang out with. Daycare is included with every night, and the price is the same on holidays.
Daycare with a real pack.
Supervised group play all day in our downstairs dog room and the yard. Dogs are grouped by temperament, every dog has their own cubby, and there's walk time and rest time built in. $30 each when two or more dogs come together.
A big yard with a 6-foot fence all the way around.
Dogs go outside every day and someone is always out there with them. The whole yard is wrapped in a 6-foot privacy fence, the gates stay closed, and the covered patio keeps play going on hot and rainy days.
Trained by a certified trainer.
I'm CGC-certified with 10 years of experience. I work on basic obedience, over-excitement and leash reactivity, and I can do a board-and-train while your dog is staying with me, with videos so you can keep it going at home.
Go home clean.
Gentle, natural soaps that soothe dry skin and leave a soft, shiny coat. Add a bath to any stay, or bring your dog in just for one.
Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off.
Can't make the drive? I'll pick your dog up and bring them home, with a secure crate in the car. Available within 50 miles.
Simple prices, no surprises
Flat rates all year, no holiday surcharge. You see your total before you book.
Long stays: 15% off 15+ nights, 20% off 20+, 25% off 30+. Refer a friend and you both get a $75 credit. Required vaccines: DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies. The meet and greet is always free.
